CHIC OUTDOOR NAPA WEDDING AT SONOMA VINEYARD ESTATE
Some weddings feel impressive. Others feel personal. This intimate Napa vineyard wedding celebration was both. Equally relaxed, yet elevated — prioritizing guest experience, connection, and a seriously fun party. Notably, it even landed a front page feature on Style Me Pretty, and it’s easy to see why!
Hosted at Sonoma Vineyard Estate, the bride’s family vineyard, the wedding paired classic Napa scenery with a modern mindset. Outdoor florals, long al fresco tables, and surprise-and-delight moments layered throughout the day. Above all, the focus was on spending real time with the people who mattered most.

Getting Ready at the Vineyard
A Calm Start in the Family’s Private Napa Estate
Naturally, the wedding morning unfolded slowly and intentionally at the winery, where generations of memories already lived within the land. As the bride got ready surrounded by family, the atmosphere felt calm, emotional, and deeply rooted in connection — a theme that would carry through every part of the day.
The bride wore a stunning Weilu Fresolone gown from Jin Wang Bride — a strapless A-line silhouette adorned with delicate floral appliqués that echoed the vineyard setting beautifully. While working closely with her bridal team, she customized the look to feel entirely her own.

Romantic First Look in the Vineyards
A first look designed for more time with wedding guests
On an unusually warm Napa Valley wedding day, the couple thoughtfully planned their timeline with comfort and connection in mind. They chose a private first look beneath the shade of the vineyard’s mature trees, creating an intimate moment together before the ceremony. Next, wedding party photos followed in short, shaded bursts, keeping everyone relaxed and present. By opting for a first look, the couple was able to spend more time with their guests after the ceremony — allowing themselves to fully enjoy the celebration without feeling rushed.

Outdoor Napa Vineyard Ceremony
UNDER THE TREES OVERLOOKING THE VINEYARD
For this couple, exchanging vows among the vines carried special meaning — this was not just a venue, but a place filled with history and family legacy. Lush garden-style florals framed the ceremony, blending soft blues with blush, peach, and ivory tones that mirrored the surrounding landscape. Undoubtedly, as Kathryn’s nieces carried her train down the aisle, guests were smiling from the first step.
The ceremony felt deeply personal, full of meaningful moments and thoughtful touches that made it truly theirs. And for a bit of humor, the couple had rubber chickens during the ceremony as a nod to an inside joke, and colorful chalk cannons that went off after their first kiss.

Cocktail Hour in the Napa Valley Vineyard
Travel-Inspired Escort Cards for a Vineyard Wedding
Following the ceremony, cocktail hour unfolded on the lawn as guests sipped on signature drinks with playful names like the “Commit-mint Mojito.” Thoughtful details continued throughout, including custom luggage tags the guided guest to their seats – a nod to the couple’s shared love of travel. As golden hour settled over the vineyard, the newlyweds slipped away for sunset portraits among the vines.

Kind Words From the NEWLYWEDS
“Hiring Sarah was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. She was more than just a photographer — she kept us on schedule, handled family dynamics with grace and humor, and made everyone look fresh even in the middle of a heatwave. She is an absolute artist. The way she captured emotion, motion, and the scenery is truly masterful. We can’t stop looking at the photos — they perfectly tell the story of our day.“

Al Fresco Dining Beneath Crystal Chandeliers
Personal Touches That Surprised & Delighted Wedding Guests
As the evening continued, guests gathered on the lawn for an unforgettable al fresco dinner. Long tables draped in patterned blue linens stretched beneath a canopy of crystal chandeliers. Rather than a traditional seated dinner, the couple opted for three live cooking stations featuring international cuisine — creating an interactive, relaxed atmosphere that encouraged conversation and connection.
As you might expect, the reception was also full of thoughtful details. Each guest received a hand-written note from the couple, the wine poured throughout the evening was produced right on the family estate, and because it was Kathryn’s mom’s birthday, she was surprised with a stack of cookies topped with a candle. Every detail was designed to make guests feel seen, appreciated, and part of the celebration.

The Party
Lights, Music, and Late-Night Snacks
For this couple, the party was non-negotiable — they wanted it to feel like “Vegas nightclub meets wedding.” And it did. Throughout the night, guests danced on a light-up LED floor, confetti cannons and CO₂ blasters fired, and late-night snacks kept everyone fueled. Every detail — from drinks to playful surprises — showed off the couple’s personality.
