Winter Wedding at Marblegate Farm | Sarah and Seth’s Sentimental Celebration
I am so excited to feature the gorgeous winter wedding of Sarah and Seth, held at the picturesque Marblegate Farm in Tennessee. From the velvety emerald green, black, and gold color palette to the lighthearted vibe of the day, every detail was beautifully executed. Despite the chilly weather, the love and warmth shared between the couple and their guests made it an unforgettable experience that you won’t want to miss!
The Venue: Marblegate Farm
Marblegate Farm is a stunning venue that provides a one-of-a-kind and romantic setting for any special event. With its sprawling hills, greenery, and elegant buildings, it’s a perfect combination of southern sophistication and rustic charm. The cozy and welcoming indoor spaces create a relaxed atmosphere that invites you in, while the outdoor scenery is absolutely breathtaking.
Getting Ready
On the morning of their wedding, Sarah and Seth got ready in separate buildings of the venue and anxiously awaited the start of their big day. They were surrounded by their closest friends and family, who helped them prepare for the exciting moments to come. The bridesmaids wore matching getting-ready outfits, while Sarah dazzled in a beautiful white nightgown and matching robe set. When the preparations were complete, the couple looked absolutely stunning and couldn’t wait to say their vows. Sarah’s wedding dress was simple yet elegant featuring delicate sheer long sleeves and Seth’s velvet emerald jacket was a definite highlight!
Wedding Party & First Look
To kick off the wedding day festivities, they opted for a first look. It was so emotional and sweet to witness. The look on Seth’s face when he saw Sarah for the first time was absolutely priceless! She was glowing in her wedding dress and they couldn’t help but shed a few happy tears at the reality of spending their life together. It was a beautiful and intimate moment between the two of them that made the day all the more sweet.
The Ceremony
The ceremony was held indoors in front of the venue’s grand fireplace filled with candles, creating a warm, romantic atmosphere. They chose to stick to tradition, but made it their own by writing heartfelt and personal vows. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room! The ceremony was a beautiful testament to their love and commitment to each other.
Cocktail Hour & Portraits
Cocktail hour was held on the patio while the venue staff flipped the ceremony space into the reception area. Guests were treated to a variety of drinks and light music, setting the tone for the festive evening ahead. During this time, we snuck away with the entire wedding party for portraits. With the help of a golf cart, we drove to a private area of the venue and took advantage of the gorgeous outdoor scenery!
The Reception
The reception was the perfect reflection of Sarah and Seth’s wedding day. The dinner was absolutely delicious and guests were treated to a heartfelt blessing and opening toast from the groom’s grandfather. The Maid of Honor and Best Man speeches followed, as everyone finished up their meals. Next was the bride and groom’s first dance, parent dances and cake cutting.
In a traditional flow of events, the couple made their way around to each table to take quick photos with their guests. The dance floor was packed, and even the grandparents made their way onto the floor. As expected, the wedding party erupted in excitement when the song “Rocky Top” by the Osbourne Brothers played. A few groomsmen even lifted Sarah and Seth onto their shoulders for the entirety of the song. The night ended with a private last dance and, my favorite, a sparkler exit.
