You spend your entire life dreaming of your wedding day— what your dress will look like, the venue, and decor, all of your loved ones gathered in one place there to celebrate you and the love of your life. It’s a momentous and once-in-a-lifetime kind of event. The photos we receive are not just still frames of the day, but a time-capsule of memories and emotions. They allow us to relive those moments and pass them down for generations to come as proof that you lived and proof that you loved.
Sadly, wedding photos all too often live behind a screen. Photographs are meant to be tangible! Something we can hold in our hands, flip through one by one, and display around our homes as works of art.
About 6-8 weeks after your big day, you will receive a personalized link to your online gallery. The email will include a one-time password for you to access the photos and create a sign-in for future use. From there, you will be able to download your gallery to your devices and share the link with family and friends.
The first thing you want to do after downloading your wedding photos is to store your images safely. I recommend saving them to at least 3 different places. Your computer, the cloud, and an external hard drive/USB are great places to start. The last thing you want is to lose your precious wedding photographs due to a computer malfunction or cloud storage issue. Prevent the stress of mishaps by saving a backup or two!
Inside your gallery, you will have access to my online store where you can order prints and products to display throughout your home. Preserve your memories with a Fine-Art Standard Print or an Heirloom Album. View sample albums here! If you’re not sure which is right for you, I’m happy to help you decide! If you’d prefer to print your photos with another vendor, I’d recommend MPix as high quality, value option.
Whether you choose to order directly through me or an outside vendor, do it before the excitement wears off and life gets in the way! Before you know it, it will be three years down the road you’ll be wishing you had taken the time while you were still riding that wedding day high. (If you happen to forget, wedding albums also make for a great first-anniversary gift!)
A wedding album is the best way to print and preserve your photos all in one place. It creates an experience as you flip through the pages of a beautiful, well-made, and custom-designed book.
Fill an empty space in your home with a gallery of your favorite wedding photos. Mix and match sizes or keep it uniform to create an eye-catching feature wall.
Wedding photos make a great gift for parents, grandparents, aunts/uncles, etc. to display at home or in the office. In some cases, these are the only group photos they will have until the next wedding or family reunion. This is especially true for families who live in separate states.
Create a personalized thank you note by using a wedding photo and a short message to send to your guests.
Make each month something special with a customized wedding calendar filled with your favorite portraits from the day.
Your wedding photos deserve more than to be hidden behind a screen. They are an important part of your history taken with intention and filled with emotion. Take the time to print your images, share them with loved ones, and put them on display to be cherished for years to come.
