As soon as you meet Jenny + Brett, their vibrant, bubbly, and fun-loving personalities are instantly apparent and you can’t help but to smile back and feel great. This October we met up for their engagement session before their wedding this Spring in a classic Chattanooga photo-op location: Coolidge Park + the Walnut Street Bridge. While some may shy away from these locations because they can be so popular: it just give us an opportunity to get creative and work around the crowds. PLUS, they’re popular for a reason!
We began our session in the park as these two quickly warmed up in front of the camera and we all got to know each other better! Engagement sessions are the perfect way to connect with your wedding photographer and get comfortable being photographed before your wedding or elopement day when I’ll be following you the majority of the day with a camera. Your wedding photographer is one of the only vendors on your wedding day that you spend the whole day with from hair + makeup to your final exit, so it’s good to know that it’s someone you’re going to get along with.
In the park, it’s easier to avoid the crowds because it’s larger and more spread out; however, once you get to the bridge, it’s a more compact area so we have work around it. But with great timing, and a good sunset — anything is possible.
If this is how great our engagement shoot turned out, I cannot wait for the magic we create on your wedding day! As always, I am so so thankful for Jenny & Brett’s trust in me as their wedding photographer. The support means the absolute world to me.
